The ‘Flo’ Pinot Noir is a reflection of purity, patience and time.
This wine has been afforded maximum time to develop its character and strengths. Extended hang time in the vineyard. Long, cool fermentation. Extended maceration. Then eighteen months of graceful aging in our finest French barriques. We wanted to craft a Tassie Pinot that goes beyond the early bottling of fresh fruit.
I liken this wine to my late Nan Flo- A wine that has developed beyond the vibrancy of youth to unearth layers of complexity and generosity, yet not without an inviting nose of warm spices and forest floor, leading to that delicious raspberry heart that makes you smile.
Unfiltered, unfined and drinking best on its second day.
